Weekend Roundup 10/26/18
We find ourselves in the last weekend in October and some big stuff is happening! The fall time in Connecticut is special, get out there on the beer trail and see the magic for yourself. Here are some of the new things that have us excited about this weekend on the Connecticut beer scene.

Firefly Brewing - Weave IPA. Rotational Hop Series, Weave 5. This version is hopped with All Galaxy Hops. This hazy juice bomb will give you a punch of hops right in the mouth and will definitely have you coming back for more.
Also Cheers to Firefly for 5 years! Anniversary party happening this weekend!
Two Roads/Aslin Brewing - Under The Wire IPA. A hazy IPA collab with the dope people at Aslin Beer Company. Limited 16oz cans to go and on draft in our tasting room, starting tomorrow but you can pick it up anywhere #TwoRoads is sold!
TRIPLE DROP from Counterweight.
Why is it that everything Counterweight puts out is brilliant? It’s not logical.
Thursday: Counterpunch IPA - serious red grapefruit and a melange of melon and pineapple.
Friday: Wizard Fight IPA (winner of a brew duel, check out our post about it) - explosive stone fruit notes abound.
Doppelbock collaboration with Privatbrauerei Stöttner. Beautiful bready caramel and toffee malt qualities abode in this tasty German lager.
Half Full Brewing - People Power IPA. Tastes like truth, justices & the American way. It also tastes like hops, a ton of hops.
Releasing on November 1st only at the brewery, People Power is a Blackberry Pale Ale that's brewed in support of the ACLU. They will also have People Power beers from @kentfallsbrewing @hanginghillsbrewing @kinsmenbrewing as a part of the Pints & Politics series.
New England Cider Company has had so many really great releases. This weekend they are releasing for a limited time, a Pumpkin Hard Cider. A Pumpkin. Hard. Cider. I mean what are you waiting for? There might already be a line. Their social media makes it seem like this is a super limited release and on Saturday they are having a Halloween party in their taproom, so if you want some of this yummy stuff get there early.
Shebeen has some interesting beers in their line up - they went ahead and added the awesomely named Chocolate Peanut Butter Finnegan’s Ladder to the bunch. What a great time to put out a beer that will marry so well with all of those Halloween candies you plan on stealing from your kids.
