New Park Brewing

New Park Brewing

From the parking lot you know this place is going to be good. An unassuming building with a cool looking outdoor patio set up, a food truck with a bustling crowd, this is my kind of place. The brewery is in a Coop kind of building that shares space with a number of other businesses.

A friend has been raving over New Park beer for some time, so when I went I had some pretty high expectations and boy did they deliver. The tap room is a small space with some seating inside and out. They have a pretty cool glass wall separating the tank room from the taproom, so you aren’t far from the next fermenting batch.

My first visit to the brewery was on one of the first warm days of a colder than normal spring so everyone was in good spirits. The crowd was lively but not overwhelming. New Park is a small batch kind of place. The brewers must be hyper focused on quality because each beer I have had from their place is better than the last.

If you find yourself headed to New Park I would definitely suggest checking out their website before you go. They have their tap room menu right on their site and you can see what's available for growlers or just pints. If you time it right, with the right food truck, this could be a truly memorable trip.

I had the porridge, a milk stout that might be my favorite cookie beer TO DATE. As well as the Market Saison which rivals some of my favorite beers. I have a four pack of Hopiary waiting to be opened. I can’t wait to go back because I know there are some quality cookie spots near by that need to have some of my attention.
