Weekend Round-up #3
Welcome to our newest weekend roundup. Check out the beers that have us excited to get out on the beer trail and grab some brews this fine September weekend. There is so much great Connecticut beer lately you can’t have it all, or can you...
Each brewery name is a link to their website and the beer name is a link to the specific beer info, usually the source of the picture.
New Park Brewing: Blender Mango Peach, Spectrum and Lumin
Like whoa. Everything from New Park is just seriously great. Their blender series keeps satisfying. Their small batch mind set and hyper focus on quality continues to prove a successful model. If you haven’t made the trek to New Park yet, make this weekend the time. You won’t be disappointed. If you need another source for how great their stuff is just ask... well.. ask anyone. Anyone who has been here or had their beers will confirm this is a brewery to experience.
Relic Brewing: Flower Thief DIPA
Dry hopped with loral and hallertau Blanc provides notes of lime, melon, orange flowers, and light citrus. Get your short bread cookies folks, this one is a doozy!
Armada Brewing: Cursed King DIPA
Every week Armada and the guys at the Beeracks are putting out something worth paying attention too. This weekend it’s the cursed king. With some Amarillo and Simcoe hops, this big monarch will be turning some heads. Get some iced sugar cookies and a four pack. You won’t regret it.
Still Hill: 3,564 Miles From Home
A Belgian Tripel with a big ole 9.1% abv will knock off those socks and asking for more. Looks like this beer is only on draft in the tap room, so make sure your growlers are clean and fill ‘me up with some of this high octane.
